BØME jewellery is handcrafted in Indonesia using recycled precious metals, responsibly sourced. Precious metals are delicate elements and will naturally react to their surroundings. To reduce wear we recommend handling your jewellery with care and storing it in a cool and dry environment, preferably in the pouch / box supplied.

925 STERLING SILVER

925 sterling silver naturally develops a patina when exposed to oxygen and sulfur particles in the air, chemicals, liquids and substances from the skin. To maintain the finish, use a reducing agent, such as a silver polishing cloth or a silver dip bath. In case of heavy oxidation, sterling silver jewellery can be replated a new layer of fine silver to restore its original colour.

18K GOLD VERMEIL

18k gold vermeil is 2.5 microns of 18k gold electroplated over a base of 925 sterling silver. The top layer of gold will naturally wear off over time. Gently clean your product using a soft cloth without chemicals and avoid contact with liquids.

SOLID GOLD

For our rings and pendants, we offer a forever choice––solid gold. We use recylced 9k gold which is a ligher gold colour and not as vibrant as 18k gold. To clean your pieces, gently wipe your product using a soft cloth without chemicals and avoid contact with liquids.
